Director, Public Health Partnerships & Population Health Integration - Rural Health Transformation Program
Dr. Marcia Mastracci Ditmyer, PhD, MBA, MS, MCHES, joins the Michigan Health Improvement Alliance as the Director for Public Health Partnerships and Population Health Integration for the Rural Health Transformation Program. In this role, she will help align public health, healthcare, and community partners across a 10-county region for the Central Michigan Regional Chronic Disease Care Collaborative.
Dr. Ditmyer is Professor of Public Health at Saginaw Valley State University and previously served as Dean of the Crystal M. Lange College of Health and Human Services. Her career spans public health, health professions education, workforce development, and community engagement, with faculty and leadership roles at Saginaw Valley State University and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her scholarly record includes more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and over 150 national and international presentations on public health, oral health disparities, health professions education, and health literacy. She currently serves as President of the Michigan Public Health Association.
