Alyson McCloy

Director of Operations
As Director of Operations, Alyson McCloy oversees the core operational and administrative functions of the Michigan Health Improvement Alliance. She serves as the staff liaison for the Board of Directors, supports various organizational committees, and acts as the financial officer for all grants – ensuring contract compliance, providing strategic oversight, and managing project directors and consultants.
Alyson brings a diverse professional background to MiHIA, having previously served as an office manager for an insurance agency where she led operations, sales, and employee training, alongside earlier experience in journalism. She is an alumna of Central Michigan University, holding a bachelor’s degree in Organization Administration and a graduate certificate in Human Resources Administration.
Born and raised in the Great Lakes Bay Region, Alyson resides in Auburn and has served as a City Commissioner since 2024. In her free time you can find her cheering on her twins at their extracurricular activities and unwinding with gardening and crocheting.
