Alyson McCloy

Director of Operations
As Director of Operations, Alyson McCloy manages the operational needs of the Michigan Health Improvement Alliance, supports various organizational committees, and serves as the staff liaison for the Board of Directors. In this role she also serves as the financial officer on all grants, ensuring compliance with the grant contracts, and oversees all of our consultants that serve as grant project managers.
Before joining the Michigan Health Improvement Alliance, Alyson was the office manager for an insurance agency, overseeing day-to-day operations including administration, sales and training. She also has a background in journalism.
Alyson graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Organization Administration and a graduate certificate in Human Resources Administration. Born and raised in the Great Lakes Bay Region, she now lives in Auburn where she was elected City Commissioner in 2024. In her free time, Alyson enjoys supporting her twins, Riley and Adelyn, in their various extracurricular activities, as well as relaxing through crocheting and gardening.
