Program Director - Resilient Roots
Jeffrey Bulls joins the Michigan Health Improvement Alliance as a Program Director in partnership with Saginaw CAP. In this role, he will continue the work of Nyesha Clark-Young and oversee the Resilient Roots program, which focuses on environmental justice in Saginaw and culminates in fostering community improvement projects that will improve environmental and health outcomes for the residents.
A lifelong resident of Saginaw, Jeffrey is also a Safety Specialist with Great Lakes Bay Health, and is involved with multiple philanthropic organizations within the city, including First Ward Community Center & the Neighborhood House as a board member, while also being the President of the Saginaw High School booster club & a card carrying member of the Saginaw High School PTSA.
Jeffrey is a graduate of the Henry Marsh Institute of Public Policy, as well as the Economic Justice Alliance of Michigan fellowship. Being a trained community organizer, he co-founded CAP – Community Alliance of the People, a 501(c)3 statewide advocacy organization devoted to fighting for the needs of the community on multiple levels.
Jeffrey is married to Kimberly Alston-Bulls with 3 wonderful children.
