Health Systems and Evaluation Consultant

Mark Kato, DHA, is a health systems consultant for the Michigan Health Improvement Alliance and has over 16 years of experience in healthcare quality improvement, data analytics, and financial analysis. He is currently an assistant professor of health science at Saginaw Valley State University teaching in the College of Health and Human Services and has prior experience leading a quality improvement analytics team at UnitedHealthcare and working in multiple health systems. Mark obtained his doctorate in healthcare administration from Central Michigan University and master’s in business administration from East Carolina University.
